The Sun Rising
Donne uses expressions and thought such as, “Busy old fool means an old main, an adult who
Has reached the end of his life, But the fool old main has grown up in love circles. Even
someone who loves his actions ,Even lovers are hesitant and ashamed from loving,
The main metaphysical element “Conceit” of “ The Sun Rising” is the personification of the
sun into an old man-a” busy old fool”. Donne said for related metaphysical conceit to
emphasize the strength of the devotion between him and his lover. A metaphysical conceit
is a metaphor extended to extreme, almost absurd lengths, so it makes sense for it to be used
to describe intense feelings such as the devotion of two lovers. Donne uses two connected
Metaphors, the sun portrayed as a person and his room being the universe, as the primary
Conceits. By using them to create an argument for the grandeur of his love. He first focuses
On his personification of the sun, immediately establishing his first conceit. He refers to it as
“unruly” and an “old fool” as it has interrupted his time in bed with his lovers. Donne has begun
to formulate the beginnings of a claim about his love. Donne continues his ridicule of the sun
questioning “why should it think, it is so strong. He goes so far as to challenge to the sun
stating that if he did that, he would not be able to see his lover.
The poem talks about the mood of self-complacent love of the john Donne and his beloved,
This poem’s theme is said centers around the happy and joyful union of the Both the between
the lovers and beloved. It is such a union and bond where the poet has even not allowed to
the sun disturbs them. In the Sun Rising “Authority of love, nature, and God’s creation.
Throughout the poem, the speaker develops this idea that his love is grand that even the universe
Itself exists within their pure relationship. The poem reflects the speaker’s boundless adoration
For his lover. The poem begins when the speaker, lying in bed with his lady. He scolds the
Sun Rising, asking why it is irritating them through curtains and windows.
He considers himself as the ruler of the universe, and in doing so, he beautifully portrays the
Entire world into his small bedroom. He challenges the authority of the sun by claiming that it c
Cannot exercise its power in the lover’s domain.

2-Go and Catch a Falling star
Donne uses the expression in this poem that in a way it is indicating that go and catch a falling
Star, don’t let them fall, encourage them, don’t discourage them. These falling stars are our
future generations. These generations are still on the rise, they are the ones who have to make
tomorrow our and our future. Help them in any way you can, gives them anything they want,
even if it is a stronghold of a plant. To keep envy’s stinging, equal rights for everyone,
if anyone don’t stinging from other persons. No one should be given more priority over
another. Otherwise, the one who is given more priority becomes arrogant person forever.
In fact, the song represents the metaphysical way to the serious with the light. While
Donne’s all light and witty. His wit flashes here and there, as he goes to emphasize feminine
frailty. The concepts of getting a child from the root of a mandrake, and the Donne mention
of a pilgrimage to see a fair and faithful , has a slightly sarcastic touch.
Donne’s come to two or three, has a satiric stroke. In this metaphysical element, now we are
being told here about a true and fair woman. A man is saying to this true woman and indicating
to a special work , This is to say, if you reduce it, you will get tired, otherwise if you go back ,
you will definitely tell me and if you will any work, means if you will get a stone and you will
tell me if such a pilgrimage were sweet if different religions special Muslims, Sikhs and
Other religion’s pilgrim’s , their elders have a big respect for the people of Allah and their
people’s, and if they want a used stone, they must visit it, and also consider it valuable.
The main idea of john Donne’s poem Go and catch a falling star is: -
Donne’s tells of a speaker’s belief that there are no woman in the world who are him
both beautiful and faithful. In the first lines of this piece, the speaker begins by giving the
reader a number of impossible tasks. He believes that one is just as likely to figure how why
the devil’s foot is clefs as find a woman who has both of these traits. In fact, he states that one
might think they’ve found a woman of his liking but she would eventually turn out to be
“False”.
