Human smuggling, or the illegal transportation of people across borders, is a global issue that affects many countries, including Pakistan. In recent years, Pakistan has become a major source, transit, and destination country for human smuggling. This article will explore the causes, effects, and solutions to human smuggling in Pakistan.
Causes of Human Smuggling in Pakistan
There are several reasons why human smuggling has become a widespread problem in Pakistan. One of the main reasons is poverty. Many people in Pakistan live in poverty and lack access to basic necessities such as food, water, and healthcare. As a result, they are often forced to seek better opportunities abroad. However, due to the high cost of legal migration and the lack of job opportunities in other countries, many people turn to human smugglers to help them cross borders illegally.

In addition, the people who have resources, education, degrees, and skills have to leave their own country for a better future for the purpose of a job, business, and further studies, those who have just degrees and do not have resources, Money they have to choose an illegal way to leave the country
Another factor that contributes to human smuggling in Pakistan is political instability. Pakistan has a history of political instability, including military coups, sectarian violence, and terrorism. This has led to a breakdown of law and order, which has made it easier for human smugglers to operate. In addition, the lack of effective border controls and corruption among law enforcement officials has made it easier for human smugglers to transport people across borders.

Moreover, Transport to people who want employment, a job etc for a better future in Europe, America and like other developed countries but they haven’t skilled and if proper documents that have required for that job, money and a lot of these things, if they lack anything, there are few job opportunities in Pakistan and many third-world countries and it is difficult to live in the condition of the house. People's hands go up, Hamans in other countries act as brokers for smugglers and extort money from people by telling them to dream and then sell them to different other countries’ agents. More of this, these people illegally send these innocent people from Pakistan to Iran, Iraq, and then to Greece, where there is no guarantee that if they cross the border, the border authorities of any country will kill or jail these innocent people. Then there is a journey of death on a boat (during that journey (threats such as the recent Greek boat disaster also loom large) from Greece. If these people reach there by any means, life is torment. If they are caught and arrested by their police and security forces, they will be deported.
