Causes, impacts and remedial measures of climate change

Cause of climate change

There are many different factors(causes) of climate change all around the world. Some of those causes are given below:

Burning of fossil fuels

When fossil fuels are burned, they release large amounts of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, into the air. Greenhouse gases trap heat in our atmosphere, causing global warming. Fossil fuels – coal, oil and gas – are by far the largest contributor to global climate change.

Generating power

Generating electricity and heat by burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas causes a large chunk of global emissions. Most electricity is still produced from fossil fuels; only about a quarter comes from wind, solar and other renewable sources.

Using transportation

Most cars, lorries, ships and planes run on fossil fuels. That makes transportation a major contributor of greenhouse gases, especially carbon-dioxide emissions. Road vehicles account for the largest part, but emissions from ships and planes continue to grow.

Cutting down forests

Cutting down forests to create farms or pastures, or for other reasons, causes emissions, since trees, when they are cut, release the carbon they have been storing. Since forests absorb carbon dioxide, destroying them also limits nature’s ability to keep emissions out of the atmosphere. Cutting down trees is a very big factor of climate change.

Consuming too much

Your home and use of power, how you move around, what you eat and how much you throw away all contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. So does the consumption of goods such as clothing, electronics, and plastics. A large chunk of global greenhouse gas emissions are linked to private households. This all leads to climate change.

Impacts of Climate change

There are many different effects (impacts) of climate change all around the world. Some of those causes are given below:

Impacts on human health

Climate change also affects people’s health in many ways. As the climate changes, more people may be exposed to extreme weather like heat, floods, droughts, storms, and wildfires. These events can cause illness, injury, and even death. Climate change can also lead to more diseases spread by insects and ticks, and it can affect the quality and safety of air, water, and food, including through the spread of harmful bacteria or viruses.

Pollution (Use plastic-bags)

Through de-forestation of trees, Using and burning plastic bags polluting the environment and Use of environment’s enemy vehicles is the worst cause of environmental pollution, through these something specially in urban areas (All day noises, car horns, loudspeakers and the dross coming out of the factories, environment’s enemy way of burning and dumping of plastic bags), also a brick mortar through these something worst impacts on human health.

Fogg/ Smog

Through the climate change specially in rural-areas, some-urban areas, Highways/ Motorways (specially with the motorway specific areas, Where the population is not at all or less, or densely populated areas or where there are crops or fields etc. Mostly it happens in winter, for some reason it is not visible (in the front and back). It causes, most of the time colds, flu, sore throat, and respiratory diseases. They are in gas form, and if they are trees present in sufficient quantities, they are converted into liquid (When they hit the leaves of the trees).

Global warming

Global warming refers to an increase in average global temperatures. Natural events and human activities are believed to be contributing to an increase in average global temperatures. This is caused primarily by increases in "greenhouse" gases such as CO2, CH4. N20 and CFC's. Climate change affects all regions around the world. Polar ice shields are melting and the sea is rising.  In some regions extreme weather events and rainfall are becoming more common while others are experiencing more extreme heat waves and droughts. These impacts are expected to intensify in the coming decades. Global warming is projected to have a number of effects on the oceans. Ongoing effects include rising sea levels due to thermal expansion and melting of glaciers and ice sheets, and warming of the ocean surface, leading to increased temperature stratification. Another one impact is altered ecosystems and habitats, as climatic patterns rapidly shift, habitats on land and in the sea are changing, making them inhospitable for some species, while letting others move in and take over.

Increases in the frequency and intensity level

Increases in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events, such as heat waves, droughts, and floods, can increase losses to property, cause costly disruptions to society, and reduce the affordability of insurance.

Changes in the patterns and amount of rainfall

Changes in the patterns and amount of rainfall, as well as changes in the timing and amount of stream flow, can affect water supplies and water quality and the production of hydroelectricity.

Remedial Measures of Climate Change

For climate change measures should be taken out. For example, we should carry out food waste method. Food should be deposited at appropriate place. We should also look for a purpose such as educating people and making them aware of environment. Environmental pollution should be controlled. Refrigement management should be carried with perspective manner so that drink is deposited at appropriate place.  There are also other certain measures which we can take to minimize the causes of environmental pollution. We can also minimize the industrial causes that make environment around polluted. Pollution is the main cause in environment. For that, we should take safety precautions as well. We can also make ourself safe. Moreover the other cause is that what makes our mind more disturbed is the mental health issues. We should also take care of health which is by intoxicants. By controlling traffic we can also minimize the effect of that traffic as well. By increasing population climate change is occuring again and again. By supply of illness and diseases it is also spreading. So we can work on climate change. We can stop spreading of climate changes. We can also adopt measures to stop environmental disturbance. For disturbing environment we can control all this scenario. We can stop causing pollution and disturbance to adopt measures taken to control all this situation.
